Is it possible for a paid invoice to be displayed (details / description / amount), but saying “This invoice has been paid” or something similar rather than show the payment button?

I think this would be much more useful than just a message saying “Paid” – a user can’t print a confirmation they have paid if they re-access the page.

Good idea I’ll have it in the next release (next week, latest). If you have made the particular customization already send me the patch and I’ll happily apply it.

Just released 1.9.6 (1.9.5 had a debugging output) with the changes you suggested.
