I just installed the plug in on a site I am setting up and was playing

around with the settings and it threw up a couple of questions.

    1) Where it says to set up an invoice page, i created one but set it to

“private” so it didnt appear on the site. I am guessing this is incorrect

because it doesnt then appear in the drop down list to select it from

settings. So how do iI create an “invoice” page and not have it showing on

    the site?

    2) In the edit user section I see this tex

Enforce 555-555-5555 format if you are using PayPal

    What is that for?

    3) I may need to edit some of the fields in the billing area of the edit

user, where would i do this from?

    4) I have created a new role as “buyer” which is what all the clients will

be called. Do they need any special permissions in the role to view and pay

    the invoices?

    5) Is there anywhere I can edit the fields for the invoices as I dont need

things like quantities etc, or if i just leave them blank are they then

    hidden?

    Sorry for all the questions.

    1) I’m using a pageMash plugin to hide the page. However you are making a good point, it’s an unnecessary step. I’ll add functionality to Web Invoice to hide the page.

    2) These are additional user profile fields added by Web Invoice. You would understand better if you play around a bit.

    3) You will need to edit Web Invoice files, this is not recommended as you will loose changes when you upgrade.

    4) Nope, no special rights/permission necessary to view or pay the invoice.

    5) You can hide the quantities from the front end, set ‘Quantities on Front End’ to ‘Hide’ in ‘Web Invoice’ -> ‘Settings’

    Hope this answers your questions.

Thanks for the replies but can you clarify a couple of things for me please?

1)So what do I do at present to create an invoice page if I cant see it?

2)I understood they were additional fields but what I dont understand it what it means.

Enforce 555-555-5555 format if you are using PayPal

    Thanks

    1) I’m using a pageMash plugin to hide the page. You can probably use that?

    2) If you are using PayPal enforce the format 555-555-5555 format (where 5 is any digit)

OK OK I am guessing its some sort of US phone code layout right? Not been US based it took me a while to get there!!

I still dont understand what its supposed to be for and neither will any of my clients as they are not US based.

It can be of any format for non US clients
