Tagged: euro
The pdf that is generated substitues the currency symbol for the Euro € with a question mark ?
Can anything be done to stop this happening please?
Thanks, will fix it during the weekend.
If its just a matter of adding the € symbol in the code somewhere could you let me know as I have made many changes to the plug in and need to limit the updates that I am making.
Thanks.
Just released Web Invoice 1.12.5 with fixes for the EUR symbol issue and Google Checkout UK VAT issue. Please upgrade.
I have advised against modifying the plugin, you could have created a custom plugin to work with Web Invoice if you really had to modify.
May be this will help, http://mohanjith.net/blog/2009/08/how-to-customize-a-wordpress-plugin-and-upgrade.html
FYI you added the € in the wrong place it goes after the value not before it.
Thanks
Al, you may be correct about location of € in your country but the standardized European default placement, used in absence of a national standard, is that (€) is placed before the amount. Therefor I have made the position part of the locale.
