Hi, I’m trying to install the latest version of Web-Invoice (1.9.12) and am receiving a fatal error when I try to activate the plugin. You can view the error and the code it mentions in the screenshot below.
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '(', expecting '}' in /nfs/c03/h04/mnt/56427/domains/digitalmeld.com/html/wp-content/plugins/web-invoice/Display.php on line 1730
This is a new installation, I have not used Web-Invoice before. I am running WordPress 2.8.4. Thanks!
@Brad, can you please let me know what’s your PHP version. The line the issue is being caused has no syntax error in many installations. I have made a bug fix release based on a hunch. Please try 1.9.13 and let me know.
My webhost is MediaTemple and my site was running on PHP 4.4.8 when the error occured. I enabled PHP 5 and the plugin enabled just fine. Thanks for the prompt response.
I have the same problem… and my hosting as well is Media Temple. Does it have a fix?
@beheriter, yes, please upgrade to PHP 5
