MemberI really can’t tell which to use. Yours is newer, but I don’t know a lot about how the two compare. I figure I’ll ask you since you probably know best at this point.
Thank you.

MemberI’d say that’s a difficult choice. Both have similar functionality, if not same. Please check out both and see how each fares and let everyone know.
I’d recommend SyntaxHighlighter2.

MemberAh.. I figured it was 50/50 on which one you built off from. You both had the same info on the extension pages. I’ll test eventually, but I’m still sorting through plugins, picking ones to test. I was secretly hoping that you built off from plus, because that would make it an easier choice. Yours is active though, so I’m sure I will end up using it.
I didn’t see a change log or anything for yours, but for the record, theirs says they added the following:
Valid XHTML markup
Background expand fix
Corrected Overflow issues
More syntax variants

MemberSyntaxHighlighter2 is based on SyntaxHighlighter. Invalid XHTML markup was a defect in SyntaxHighlighter and fixed in SyntaxHighlighter2. SyntaxHighlighter2 has more syntax variants compared to SyntaxHighlighter. However I need to address the overflow issue, see http://mohanjith.net/blog/2008/01/automagically-ping-blog-search-engines.html Line 51 (in the code snippet).
@AllRoCol thank you very much for posting your findings, much appreciated.
